2 mar 2010: MESS HALL

Macrame
Tuesday, March 2, 6:30PM–9:00PM
Mess Hall
6932 N. Glenwood Ave. (west side of the El tracks)

Dinnerluck will start at 6:30- Workshop will begin at 7pm. As always, please feel free to bring food to share or just bring yourself!

Learn two kinds of macrame jewelry–basic designs for hemp and embroidery floss bracelets. We’ll learn how to combine a few different knots to make some classic designs, and there will be examples of more advanced patterns. Some materials provided, but please bring what you’ve got! I do not have any beads, but there’s plenty of beautiful designs that do not necessitate beads. (Bring ’em if you want ’em.) http://www.messhall.org
